Write it anyway
A nudge to trust your words (despite fears and excuses).
Writing shouldn’t be about perfection. It should be about clarity and confidence. About showing up in a way that makes sense to you and others. And, most of all, it should be about joy.
Too many smart, skilled people stay quiet because they don’t trust their words (I know them, you know them… are you one of them?). They overthink, polish endlessly, and never hit “send” or “post”.
Fears creep in the moment they put pen to paper. What if it isn’t good enough? What will others say? What if I’m not witty/experienced/insightful enough? What if I’m too young/old/quiet/loud? What if I make a mistake and the world ends?
Or maybe you’re writing already, but not focusing on the things you really want to say. Maybe you’re not afraid of writing, but can’t find the time and space to do it.
Meanwhile, many people with less to say are the loudest in the virtual room.
Shrug & Send is a nudge to do the opposite of staying quiet because of [insert fear or excuse]. It’s your friendly reminder to write, share, and let your ideas breathe more often. No over-editing or waiting for perfect (spoiler: “perfect” will never show up). That doesn’t mean writing poorly, it means starting somewhere.
Let’s write until it becomes more comfortable. More meaningful, more pleasant, more part of your routine.
Note to self and others: The words you keep to yourself can’t build your career, business, or reputation.
We’re in this together (you don’t want to know how many times I edited this post). Let’s practice.
P.S. The 30-day writing challenge starts on October 1. You will get an email with more details a day before.

I love your energy
